To assist Disabled Veterans in their return to the Great Outdoors.

***SATURDAY - JUNE 21, 2008 - Ride begins at 2 p.m.***
Rain or Shine.  Open to All
Course is approximately 30 miles long

Adults:        $22.00      Children  (15 years of age and younger)  $18.00

Directions to Start:   
From Grand Rapids -- take 131 north to Reed City exit.  Take US-10 West  to
M-37 (Baldwin). North to North Country campground.
From Cadillac -- M-55 West to M-37 South to North Country campground.
From Traverse City-- M-37 south to North Country campground
From Ludington--  U.S. 10 east to M-37 North to North Country campground.

November 2008 Daggerhorn Plantation Whitetail Hunt

Operation Injured Soldiers with the help of U.S. Army Col. George Roarke is sponsoring
their 3rd Annual Whitetail Hunt at Daggerhorn Plantation in Alabama in November.  

This outing is planned for five Disabled Veterans to enjoy 3 days of the "Great Outdoors"
in Alabama and the chance to share their experiences with their fellow comrades.

If you are a veteran who is interested in participating with this hunt or if you would like to
help sponsor a disabled Veteran by helping them get outfitted or providing transportation

MSU Football Tickets

This year OIS will have 6 tickets per home game for disabled veteran's and their immediate
families.  This package will also include $125 (pre-loaded VISA) for purchase of gasoline,
hotel accommodations, or travel expenses.

Jerry Lemke and Associates have again sponsored this great opportunity to help disabled
veterans get out and enjoy something they could not do on their own.

Detroit Tigers Baseball Tickets

OIS will be offering disabled veterans and their immediate family members a day at the "Ball
Park" with the Detroit Tigers.  

This event is planned for mid-to-late August and will be for a week day game.

There are a limited amount of tickets available so reserve yours today by emailing
